Welcome message from our director

Welcome to the Eastchester Public Library!  We hope you will enjoy our library’s wonderful collection of adult and children’s materials as well as the various programs offered by the library. In addition to being open six days a week, we continue to offer online library cards,  “Book Bundles” and Curbside Pick Up  for our patrons who are not yet comfortable entering the building or who simply enjoy the convenience of this service. If you are unable to get to the library and are looking to stream a film or read an E-book look no further!

All of our electronic services are listed on this website and we offer one-on-one assistance to anyone who needs help setting us an account or downloading books, music, audiobooks or films.  Whether you come in and browse, use curb side pick up, request inter-library loans by phone or email or rely on our homebound service, we do our best to make sure you are able to receive the items you are looking for in a timely manner.  Our library-sponsored programs,  for children, teens and adults are open to all free of charge on Zoom and at the library.  The library also partners with community groups including AARP, the New York Blood Center, the Westchester Board of Elections and the Eastchester 5K offering services and programs that contribute to the well-being of our residents.

The Eastchester Public Library is beginning the process of planning for the next five years.  Beginning in September, we will be asking for your help in identifying the library services which mean the most to you and your family.  Please take a moment to complete our upcoming surveys and questionnaires and don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have.

I hope to see you at the library soon!

Tracy Wright, Library Director
