What is my PIN/password?

Typically, your PIN to use online resources through EPL or the Westchester Library System is the last four digits of your phone number. Please make sure to input your library barcode with no spaces. If this doesn't work, please call 914-793-5055 or email info@eastchesterlibrary.org and we can reset it for you.

How do I get a library card?

First, check here to see if you are eligible to open at Eastchester Public Library card. If you are, the easiest way to stop by with your photo ID and a second proof of your Eastchester address, i.e. a utility bill. If you have a different home library, please contact that library for more info.

Can I use my card from another community your library?

If it is in Westchester County, yes. You can also return materials from another Westchester library to this library, or return our materials to any other library in Westchester.

Can I rent your auditorium or meeting room, or offer a program in your library?

Please email the Library Director at twright@eastchesterlibrary.org with more info about your request.

Can I study in your meeting room, or reserve it for a study group?

Use of the Upstairs Meeting Room is limited to two hours per person, per day. Please contact the Adult Services Librarian at info@eastchesterlibrary.org for more info.

Do you offer free tax help, or free tax forms?

Free tax help is provided during tax season only, by appointment only, by AARP Tax-Aide. We receive a limited amount of free tax forms from New York State and the IRS that are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, and we can print any additional forms for you at a cost of 15 cents per page. Can I vote at the library?

We are a Westchester County Early Voting site. We are not a polling place on the day of an election or primary. Please direct any questions about voting to the Board of Elections.
