The Library’s collection includes over 77,000 physical items and an additional 170,000 digital items available free of charge on our Libby, Hoopla and Kanopy apps. The Library offers several research databases and our Adult Services Librarian Jonathan and Teen Librarian Marissa are available to assist with any questions you may have.
EPL cardholders also have exclusive access to Creativebug.com which offers thousands of arts & crafts classes taught by experts in the field. Group and one-on-one computer classes, teen and adult wellness programs, and our cookbook and mystery book clubs are popular programs open to all. The adult library is located on the main floor and is adjacent to our children’s library.
The Rashkoff Room, located on the lower level of the library is where a variety of programs, including art and history lectures, films, musical performances, children’s programs and live productions of new and established plays are offered, all free of charge. And don’t forget to visit the Friends Book Sale Room, also located on the lower level of the library. The Book Sale Room is open on Tuesdays and Fridays and on the first and second Saturday of the month from noon-3:00 pm.

Homebound Book Service: We offer a home-bound delivery service for Eastchester cardholders who are unable to visit the library due to illness or disability. Please call the library at 914-793-5055 and ask for Johnson, or email jchacko@eastchesterlibrary.org, to inquire if you qualify for this service and to schedule your delivery.
Interlibrary Loan Service: You likely know that if a book is not available on our shelf but is available in one of the Westchester Library System's 38 member libraries, we can place a hold for you to pick up here. (Often, it will come in just a few days!) You may not know that even if a book is not available in the library system, we can request it for you from public or academic libraries around the region and country. This service is only available for print books and articles. For more information or to make a request, visit this page.
Museum Passes: We offer access to 20 different museums, and in most cases, your entire family can visit for free! It is available to anyone who has an Eastchester Public Library card, or an active membership in our Friends of the Library group. Click here to learn more or make a reservation.
