Battle of the Books is a Westchester-wide tournament where teams from different public libraries compete on their knowledge of the same five books!

This year's tournament is on Saturday, October 25 at the Anne M. Dorner Middle School in Ossining, New York.

We are looking for enthusiastic readers who will be in grades 4-12 in Fall of 2025. Readers are divided into teams of Grades 4-7 and Grades 6-12. The overlap means you can decide which books you feel most comfortable reading and competing for. 

Participants have all summer to read the tournament books, then the team meets once a week for practice from September to October.
