Westchester County Historical Society (westchesterhistory.com) offers a great deal of digital material, some of which is searchable. Their website includes a list of local history contacts for communities across Westchester. They also publish The Westchester Historian periodical, which is available at EPL.
Eastchester Historical Society (eastchesterhistoricalsociety.org) offers access to articles, digitized newspapers, short digital videos, and also owns a library of print materials.
Tuckahoe also has a History Committee (tuckahoe.com/history-committee)

We are sorry to learn of the passing of Richard "Dick" Forliano, a beloved member of the Eastchester community. As a dedicated teacher, historian and civic leader, Dick played a vital role in shaping our town’s connection to its rich past. He generously shared his knowledge through numerous programs and lectures at the library, inspiring countless residents and patrons. His passion for education, community and history made a lasting impact and he will be greatly missed by the library and the entire Eastchester community.
